Why Rajouri Garden is becoming West Delhi's podcast base

For years Delhi's podcast studios clustered in South Delhi and Gurgaon, and creators from Punjabi Bagh, Janakpuri, Paschim Vihar and Dwarka spent two hours in traffic to record a 45-minute episode. That has changed. Here is why West Delhi, and Rajouri Garden in particular, now makes sense as a recording base.

Two metro lines in one station

Rajouri Garden is an interchange between the Blue Line (Noida, Dwarka, Rajiv Chowk) and the Pink Line (Rohini, Netaji Subhash Place, Lajpat Nagar). Guests from almost anywhere in Delhi NCR can arrive without a car, which matters more for a weekly show than any sofa.

Half the rate for the same class of gear

A creator community that records in its own language

West Delhi shows run in Hindi, Hinglish and Punjabi, on business, property, food, cars, faith and family. A studio operator who follows a Punjabi conversation and marks the right timestamps for the editor is a genuine advantage over a studio where the crew is waiting for you to switch to English.
